AFL Draft Preparation
At KAPITAL Sports Group we pride ourselves on providing support and feedback to our draftees and their families in the lead up to AFL Draft day. We understand the importance of keeping focus on schooling or work, for those at NAB League level or mature age, together with training and game day preparation.
With the year being particularly busy for our draftees, we ensure we are at the forefront of conversations with club recruiters and list managers to be able to provide clear and honest feedback throughout the year. We are committed to not only providing this guidance but also creating a relationship based on trust that will underpin a long and healthy relationship.
Contract Negotiation
Our team of accredited agents are experienced in negotiating contract terms that provide the best outcome for our players. At KAPITAL Sports Group we have respect from all AFL clubs and work closely with them to ensure we finalise all contracts with the understanding that player and club are comfortable.
We act with honesty and integrity in our dealings and pride ourselves on our industry knowledge and market worth of our players in line with changing Total Player Payment caps.
Trading & Free Agency
Our role in managing our players will always include understanding best fit and opportunity for longevity in the game. Many of our players have experienced a change in club through their career.

Tax and Wealth Creation
Our team at KAPITAL Sports Group provides accountancy and tax services in-house to ensure financial accounts and tax returns are prepared and lodged in a timely manner. In our dealings with working closely with our clients we prepare a financial file and spend the necessary time to deal direct with clubs to gather source information to assist with tax return preparation.
Much importance is placed on educating and preparing a savings platform that commits our clients to accumulating wealth and protecting their future. Accumulating an asset base to buy and hold property and shares long term, together with dealing with banks to structure personal and investment loan balances with a commitment to reduce over time allows our clients to leave the game well prepared financially for the next stage of life.
Promotions, Marketing & Sponsorship
With the current media landscape evolving faster than ever, KAPITAL Sports Group works hard to maximise and source commercial opportunities for our players. We work to create a commercial brand that can extend into media and other platforms in differing industries that can provide opportunities away from the game.
We have successfully negotiated marketing deals with commercial TV and media platforms, sporting brands, motor vehicle sponsorship, leisure and fashion, finance and banking sectors and the AFL.
Life after football
At KAPITAL Sports Group we always have an eye on the future. We understand that a professional sporting career doesn’t last forever so the roll out is important.
We work with closely with our clients to understand their interests outside of football. Whether that be a commitment to study, work in a trade or establish and work on a business opportunity, we prioritise the need to provide guidance and advice through a football career to then have a seamless transition post career.
